We are rapidly approaching the end of another academic year and I have to say it’s a bit scary to be one week from the end of the school year. We know that this time of year can be very stressful for pupils and parents and the thought of a six week holiday is very difficult to comprehend. Next week is our last opportunity to offer you any support in preparation for the holidays, so if we can help in any way let us know.
I always think it is important for us to end on a really positive experience and family event. So we will be holding our annual celebration day on Monday 23rd July 2018. This will be a carnival themed day with inflatable carnival items, an ice cream truck, BBQ lunch and celebration assembly. There will be performances from our pupils and we will be announcing the winning house from the House Point competition which is currently very close.
Parents are invited to attend from 12:00 midday and we will have open classrooms so that you can see some of the work your child has produced over the year. With a bit of luck the weather will hold and we will be able to hold the assembly outside so please make sure you have suitable sun protection.
If you are intending to join us for this celebration please email firstname.lastname@example.org by Thursday 19th July.
